This weekend at UMMAXX 9 in Medina, Ohio, No Quarter's top 155 pound fighter from Asheville, NC, Matt "The Silent Assassin" Covan takes on the fight of his life. Venturing far from home, Matt will take on highly regrded Strikeforce veteran Torrance Taylor. Taylor (6-6) is out of Columbia, Ohio and will definitely have the home field advantage, but we know the Silent Assassin lives by one law, "No Quarter Asked..No Quarter Given"!! Give it to him Matt!!!
Also, on this card "The Pain Train" Jeremy Holm will look to extend his record to a impressive 6-0 and Ryan "Ghengis" Conn will make his fifth appearance in the cage. Good luck to all of these men for even being invited to compete on such a prestigious event.

Team Alliance Conquers The 11th SC Sub Grappling Classic
With only 8 students competing May 2nd at the SC Submission Grappling Classic, Team Alliance of Charlotte took home the Team and Association Trophies. It wasn't easy as Gracie Barra Columbia had about 18 very tough and technical guys along with Mark Mills CMA academy placing third. This event gets tougher and tougher. Congrats to John Plyler, Scott "Comprido" Appleyard, Edgar "Happy Feet" Gomez, Dave "KungFuPanda" Patterson, Billy Paterson, Andrew "Snowman" Riddle and Daniel "Beat Street" Ba great work!! And a Big Shout out to my Beautiful wife Ana Gracie Togno for helping me movivate the guys to Victory!
